ZIM dancehall general, Donald “Sniper Storm” Chirisa, is set to release his ninth studio album titled ‘‘Scenario’’ on September 30.

Popular for several hit songs like Kubhinya, One Room, Mob Psychology and Love  Yemusoja, the chanter last released an album in 2016. Six years later, Sniper will be dropping a 12-track album.

Speaking to H-Metro, Sniper said:

“The album was inspired by life events that happen in our communities.

“Fans should expect fun and musical ‘genius’ and they should get ready  to be entertained.

“I am still working on the track list as I have a number of songs we have recorded, and not released, which me and my team are still debating on whether to include on the album.

“We have some new songs we recorded, which we are still to decide on whether they will feature on the album, or we wait to release them at a later stage.

“I want to give the fans a balanced album that music fans can appreciate and love.”

He added:

“I have been releasing singles in the last few years and I also released an Extended Play called Munyaka last year.

“I have also started featuring on riddims of late and doing a number of shows in and out of the capital. There is still more music and shows to come.”
