FRESH from a cutting-edge album launch in her hometown of Chegutu, versatile songstress Nisha TS is set to bring her usual flair to the stage when she headlines the Shoko Festival Peace in the Hood gig on Saturday night.
This time around, Nisha TS, accompanied by her all-female band, heads to the traditional venue of the gig in Chitungwiza, where a night of partying and dancing is anticipated.
Riding high on tracks such as Musanditsiure and Shasha, Nisha TS is expected to serenade attendees with her rich catalogue, which includes Kutsamwa Kune Labour and Admire Kadembo, among others.
The line-up for the gig includes Sane Wav, Tanto Wave, Hwinza, Young Gemini, Scrip Mula (Mulanation), Yadis, MC Tatts, DJ RSK and DJ Tashman.
Nisha TS said she is looking forward to performing at Shoko Festival, which has become a premium event for urban culture.
“Shoko Festival is a very special platform for me because it celebrates Zimbabwean culture, creativity and the voices of young people.
“Being part of a festival that continues to bring people together through music and art is an honour. I’m looking forward to connecting with the audience, sharing my music and being part of another memorable Shoko experience,” she said.
