Kaizer Chiefs striker Kingston Nkhatha could move to SuperSport United during the current transfer window if discussions between clubs are fruitful.

Nkhatha signed a pre-contract agreement with United this week to begin a new chapter with Matsatsantsa in July.

However, this website has gathered that Amakhosi are willing to let the Zimbabwean striker move to Pretoria this month.

“Nkhatha has not had a good relationship with the supporters and it won’t serve a purpose to keep him when we know that his heart is elsewhere,” says a source.

“Chiefs are preparing an offer to sell him now in January,” he reveals.

Nkhatha’s agent Tim Sukazi has also not ruled out the possibility of his client moving to SuperSport immediately.

“It will depend on discussions between the two clubs. It’s possible,” Sukazi.

Meanwhile a poll by KickOff.com shows that’s for all the senseless booing he incurred, it seems not too many Kaizer Chiefs fans are pleased to see Nkhatha leaving.

Polls on both web and mobile sites, as well as on Twitter indicated the same thing – the majority of Chiefs fans didn’t want the Zimbabwean to leave.

And for every one comment under the article that said he was a useless cow, there were three saying this hard-working player’s work-rate will be missed when he’s gone.

Some of the comments also suggested that the Amakhosi faithful were not only shocked by the news, but upset that the club had not done more to keep Nkhatha.
