CANDIDATES vying for the Nkulumane Constituency National Assembly seat on Wednesday engaged in a town hall debate where all shared their vision if elected.
The much-anticipated by-election, which is set for 20 December, fell vacant following the passing of Desire Moyo who was involved in a car accident last October.

The event provided a platform for the aspirants to directly engage with the electorate, presenting their manifestos and fielding questions on the issues that matter most to the community.
The ruling party Zanu-PF’s candidate, Cde Freedom Murechu has since articulated his plan for the constituency, eloquently expressing how the party’s national development agenda will be localised to bring tangible change to the constituency.
He detailed specific projects under the banner of the ruling party, including government-backed initiatives for housing and infrastructure upgrades, assuring the residents that Nkulumane will not be left behind in the country’s drive towards an upper-middle-income economy.
