NMB unveils US dollar remittance service

NMB Bank Limited last week unveiled a United States dollar remittance service, NMBRemit, for users to send and collect
money from the financial institution’s branches.

Speaking after the launch, NMB Bank chief executive officer Mr Gerald Gore said:

“Customer convenience is a priority for everything we do at NMB Bank, and as a digital bank, we always strive to
deliver both convenient and relevant financial solutions to our customers.

NMBRemit is designed to reduce customer effort and give all Zimbabweans a secure and fast way to send money to
their loved ones.”

Mr Gore said the bank has partnerships with global remittance service providers such as Mukuru, WorldRemit,
Western Union and Mama Money to ensure clients can receive money from anywhere in the world.

“Combined, NMBRemit and our global partners ensure that NMB clients have access to their money regardless of location,
can send and receive it at all times.

The transaction charges are highly competitive, with clients able to send up to US$2 000 per month,” he said.
