NO condoms, no sex my dear!

This is apparently the theme of the a�?campaigna�? a woman from Cement Siding on the outskirts of Bulawayo is waging against her philandering live-in boyfriend as punishment for allegedly cheating on her.

Trace Nhopi allegedly protested in court against her unfaithful lover Alois Mpofu (BOTH ABOVE) who she accused of sexually abusing her by allegedly refusing to use protection each time they had sexual intercourse.

Nhopi claimed that she was afraid of contracting HIV as her lover was in the habit of bringing other women in their house during her absence.

She claimed that if she refused to have unprotected sex, Mpofu verbally and physically abused her.

Nhopi spearheaded her campaign to a�?condomisea�? in her bedroom at the Bulawayo Civil Court where she was seeking a protection order against her lover.

a�?Alois Mpofu is my live-in boyfriend and he has gone violent. He is constantly beating me up. He also insults me using vulgar language. He is in the habit of bringing other women in the house during my absence.

a�?Each time he wants to have sex with me I advise him to use protection, but he is refusing.

a�?He wants to put my life at the risk of contracting HIV and Aids. Whenever I tell him, a�?no condoms, no sexa�� he becomes angry and abuses me,a�? she said.

Mpofu however, disputed his lovera��s claims. He said the reason why he was having a a�?side-chicka�? was because Nhopi slapped him with a 10-month sexual embargo as punishment for demanding unprotected sex.

a�?All what she said is not true. To be honest, Your Worship I last had sex with her in March last year and whenever I confronted her about the issue she advised me to look for another woman.

a�?She is fixing me for demanding unprotected sex as if I am of ill-health.

a�?Another reason why she is fixing me is that I confronted her over some household property she bought without my knowledge,a�? said Mpofu.

Presiding magistrate Sheunesu Matova however, ordered Mpofu not to verbally and physically abuse the applicant and engage in any sexual manner she is not comfortable with.
