No drug-related arrests in March

THE Zimbabwe Republic Police did not record a single drug-related arrest in Bulawayo province during the month of March.

This was revealed by Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube last week

However, the drug scourge has become such a crisis in the country and President Mnangagwa appointed an inter-Ministerial Task Force to spearhead the fight against drugs.

Parliament has also weighed in with Members of the Senate calling on drug dealers to be named and shamed in public.

The Second Republic crafted a ‘Zimbabwe National Drug Masterplan 2020-2025’ as it moves towards creating a drug free society.
