In fact he has issued a friendly warning to his former teammate who crossed the floor this year after contract talks with Bosso broke down.
“With the way I know him, I can declare that there will be no through road, he will find a durawall and I would also like to let him know that it’s nothing personal really, ngumsebenzi,” quipped the former winger turned left back.
The match is one of two set for the City of Kings tomorrow with Chicken Inn, who put up a below par performance against Monomotapa on Thursday, playing host to 2010 champions Motor Action at Luveve Stadium.
The match was initially scheduled for today but with the Bulls having played on Thursday against Shabanie Mine in Harare, it would have meant travelling yesterday and playing today without rest. For the neutrals, the match has all the ingredients of a thriller. The real deal though is at Barbourfields Stadium where Kutsanzira will be on familiar territory but a completely different atmosphere and Kangwa is ready for him.
Kangwa said while he might have respect for Kutsanzira, tomorrow will be a different issue altogether as they aim for their second set of three points in a row, following Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Gunners in the capital.
He said people should also not be fooled into thinking that his main worry or concern was Kutsanzira as he was prepared to shut out whoever the Caps United technical bench of Sean Connor and Lloyd Chitembwe will throw in his way tomorrow.
“I don’t care and I don’t want to think of who I will face but what I know is that like the rest of my teammates, I am ready to deal with who ever or whatever comes along my path,” said the player who has entrenched himself in the left back position since coming in for the equally impressive Honest Moyo who was injured during the 5-3 mauling of Hardbody.
He said morale in the team was high and everyone was looking forward to the match, emphasising that they are not underrating their counterparts despite them being held to a 1-1 draw by lowly Black Mambas on the same day that they collected maximum points on the road.
Makepekepe have not lost a match in the last six games after a disastrous start to the season when dressing room wars threatened to tear the Green Machine apart.
Caps United coach Connor has already declared that they are coming to Bulawayo to collect maximum points and strongly believes his boys have what it takes to stop the Highlanders juggernaut.
“I have seen Highlanders playing and I am looking forward to the match.
“They have drawn three and won one, we have won three and drawn one. Are we going to Bulawayo to lose a game? Absolutely not,” declared the 44-year-old Irishman who went on a historic and embarrassing 23-match winless streak with Galway United in his homeland.
Caps though are likely going to miss their big goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda who has always lit up Barbourfields Stadium, especially when preparing to take set pieces. Sibanda suffered a concussion on Wednesday when he collided against the bar during the Black Mambas match.
Another Bulawayo side, Quelaton, who unfortunately lost game number 10 on Wednesday to Dynamos, travel to the capital for a battle against Black Mambas today.
Stuttering Hwange, who are yet to win on the road, are at home to Gunners at the Colliery Stadium today in a game that is a must win for them.
