No water for Western suburbs

latest development. This comes hardly a week after residents in most parts of the city spent the weekend without water after Morton Jaffray and Warren Park Water Control were temporarily shut down for routine maintenance works.
“The disconnection is part of our routine maintenance works and areas like Kuwadzana, Budiriro and other high density areas will face water shortages,” he said.

Water shortages continue to pose a serious challenge within the city which has erratic supplies most of the times forcing residents to resort to fetching water from unprotected sources such as drains and shallow wells.

Some parts of Harare have not received water for years, while others only receive supplies at night despite paying their monthly bills.
Mr Gwindi said the procedure was likely to take the whole day though the exact time frame would be known today.
