BULAWAYO-BASED all-female acapella group, Nobuntu, is set to perform at Theatre in the Park on Friday.
Nobuntu will be supported by Stango & Nongoma featuring Ramadu and Oktopus.
Rooftop Promotions is behind the show, which kicks off at 7pm and fans will fork out US$5 for the event.
Rooftop Promotions programmes and communication manager, Passmore Ndlovu, said this would be their first concert of the year.
“We are happy that we are doing it with the Nobuntu group,” he said.
He appealed to the public to book their tickets in advance to avoid inconvenience.
Nobuntu band manager, Dumisani Moyo, said they were looking forward to a memorable show in Harare.
“We are excited to be performing in Harare on Friday,” he said.
Nobuntu has three albums, Thina, Ekhaya and Obabes Bembube, which are in Shona and isiNdebele.
All three albums were released through their Zimbabwean music record label called 10th District Music.
The group is made up of Thandeka Moyo (soprano/first Tenor), Zele Manhenga (soprano/alto), Joyline Sibanda (alto/tenor) and Duduzile Sibanda (tenor/baritone).
Last year, the band staged two shows in the United States of America and they’re preparing for another tour this year.
They have held several shows locally, mostly in Bulawayo.
The group is known for songs like Cula, Ilanga, Umusa and Asambeni, among other hits.
