Dynamos were in bullish mode when they locked horns with army-side, Cranborne Bullets, in a friendly encounter at Vengere on Saturday.
The teams engaged in two matches, both won 2-0 by Dynamos.
Eli Ilunga and Jayden Bakari were on target in the first match, while Elvis Moyo and Emmanuel Paga were scorers in the second match.
Both teams played with urgency in both games and displayed some entertaining positional football despite the bumpy turf at Vengere.
Prodigal son, Denver Mukamba, also featured in the second game for Dynamos and displayed some classy one touches. The Dynamos faithful would burst into cheers each time the sleek midfielder would touch the ball.
Midfielder Tanaka Shandirwa bossed the midfield all day as he sought to cement his position in the Dynamos team.
Promising youngster Vusa Ngwenya, who was promoted from the Dynamos academy, was also thrown into the fray.
Emmanuel Ziocha did not feature in both games as he is nursing an injury.
The newly restructured Dynamos executive witnessed both matches.
Dynamos coach, Herbert Maruwa, is convinced that his side is turning into a completely oiled machine before the new season starts.
“It was a good show from the boys. I can see there is a lot of progress from the last games we played. I see a lot of positives rather than negatives. As you can see now, goals are coming,” said Maruwa.

“I am happy the guys are now scoring. You can see we played and won 2-0 both games, and this shows that we are getting there.”
“We have a good team where anyone can play in my team. We can’t say the team which played the second game is going to be regular. Anyone can play in the team. We gave some guys who played in the first game another run in the second game.
“We have a good team and if anyone is injured, he can be easily replaced. The team is getting the results and this shows everyone in the squad is important,” he said.
Cranborne Bullets head coach, Nesbert ‘Yabo’ Saruchera said he was not worried about the results yet as he is focusing on building a competitive squad.
“We are still building. We introduced about four new players in the first game and we are happy with the progress so far,” he said.
“We are not worried about the results at the moment. We are worried about the performance like what you saw today. We did well, we created a few chances, but we couldn’t bury them. It is still early in the pre-season and the boys are progressing well.
“We need to fine-tune our finishing and the movement was correct. We are almost done with our 30-man squad and we may be looking to add one or two whose names we can’t divulge now,” he said.
