Nobuntu thrills fans at Theatre in the Park

BULAWAYO-BASED all-female acapella group, Nobuntu, thrilled fans at Theatre in the Park on Friday.

Their stage communication and interaction was good.

Passmore Ndlovu, the Rooftop Promotions programmes and communication manager, said the performance was, indeed, powerful.

“It was so powerful and very exciting how the group was able to engage the audience,” he said.

He said that it was a special moment after the all-female group last performed more than four years ago in Harare.

“It was really a quenching moment for the Harare fans, who had missed this melody, since the band’s last performance in the Sunshine City, more than four years ago.

“The globetrotting band is set to tour the United States again this year by public demand,” he said.

The group is made up of Thandeka Moyo (soprano/first Tenor), Zele Manhenga (soprano/alto), Joyline Sibanda (alto/tenor) and Duduzile Sibanda (tenor/baritone).
