The WHINQUINS female group, consisting of Noreen Moria and Queen Tasha, is gearing up to launch their latest single, The Bag, with a live performance this Saturday at Olympus Lounge in Bulawayo.

Produced by Loshy ZW, The Bag aims to inspire women to embrace independence and confidence, aligning with the group’s mission to empower female artistes. The group, founded by Queen Tasha in 2017, seeks to create a platform for women in music to thrive.

Noreen Moria explained that the track focuses on encouraging women to stay driven and focused on their goals.
“The track portrays determined women who have their eyes set on the ‘bag,’ symbolising financial independence. It’s meant to motivate women to work on themselves, chase their dreams, and restore confidence to those who might feel insecure,” said Noreen Moria.

She added that the live launch is a strategic move to reach a larger audience and offer fans a chance to see the Queens perform live.
“We wanted to launch the track in a way that allows us to connect with our audience on a deeper level and showcase our artistry,” she said. – @mthabisi_mthire
