The highly-anticipated Zimbabwean tour of South African music sensation Nkosazana Daughter has been rescheduled to start on Saturday, rather than Friday as initially planned.
The celebrated songstress will kick off her tour with two performances on Saturday night. Her first stop will be at the Palace Hotel in Bulawayo at 11pm, followed by a performance at Phoenix Tshisanyama in Gwanda shortly after midnight.
On Sunday, she will wrap up her tour at Magic Box 2 in Kwekwe, performing as part of the Magicbox Festival.
The Bulawayo show promises an electrifying experience, featuring a stellar line-up of supporting acts such as Hwinza, Mzoe7, Tsepiso, Apama, and Marosto Fire. Complementing the line-up will be top DJs, including DJ Vic Gee, DJ Ayaxx, DJ Keitho, and DJ Tesso, ensuring a night of non-stop entertainment.
In Gwanda, Nkosazana Daughter will share the stage with Hwinza, Msaigwa, Apama, and Zhezhingtons. Hosted by MC Freddy and Rich Flavour, the event will also feature DJs Keitho and Virus.
The tour’s final leg in Kwekwe will see the Makhwelwane hit-maker performing alongside Young Gemini, Jah Master, Mr Grey, Apama, MC Bakithie, MC Tiff, DJ Skimboh, DJ Masterpiece, DJ Tylax, DJ Eddie Bee, MC Cally B, and MC Ngugie.
Speaking from South Africa, Nkosazana Daughter’s management confirmed the adjustments to the schedule, saying, “We’re now coming to Zimbabwe on Saturday for two shows on the night and another one in Kwekwe.”
Event organiser and leisure spot proprietor Tapiwa “Gandz” Gandiwa assured fans that everything is in place for the shows.
“We apologise to our clientele for any inconveniences caused but promise a fun-filled night. We encourage fans to come in numbers,” said Gandz. – @mthabisi_mthire
