Nox embarks on continental album launch tour

MUSICIAN Nox Guni is readying to release an album titled Royal Alliances which will be officially launched in Zimbabwe and South Africa before he promotes it through an album launch tour around Africa.

The album has 10 tracks and according to the artiste, features 10 African stars from Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Uganda, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The official album launch in Zimbabwe has been slated for September 24 in the capital at Dreams Night Life. Prior to that, Nox will start off the tour where he will sample some of the songs at his Masvingo province on September 16. The following day, he will be in Mutare, and on September 18, he will perform in Harare at Jongwe Corner.

He is set to commence the continental tour in Pretoria, South Africa on September 30. The album’s official launch in South Africa will be held at Baseline in Newton on October 1. The other South African venues are Durban (October 7), East London/Port Elizabeth (October 8), and Cape Town (October 9) before Bulawayo and Plumtree play host to the South Africa-based musician on October 14.

The African tour will head to Botswana on October 15, Zambia (October 16), Mozambique (October 21), Swaziland (October 22), Lesotho (October 23), Tanzania (October 28), Ghana (October 29) before it is wrapped up in Nigeria on October 30.

Known as the Zaka prince, Nox said people should expect an album that defines him as the Zimbabwean prince.

“I’m geared to deliver a quality product which will cement why I view myself as the Zim Prince. The tracks on the album have surprise artistes and I want to assure people that this is a production that will soothe people’s hearts and make them dance as we approach year-end,” said Nox.
