NRZ changes departure times for Francistown train

Monday.
NRZ public relations manager Mr Fanuel Masikati said the train, which used to depart from Bulawayo station at 11am, will now leave at 09:45am. The passenger train usually used by crossborder traders travels to Francistown on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

It returns to Bulawayo on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
It costs US$4,50 to travel to Francistown while road transporters charge US$8 for the same journey.

Mr Masikati, however, appealed to the public to stop vandalising facilities such as coaches, door handles, and passenger coach seat covers. He urged the public to report anyone seen vandalising NRZ property.
