AGENT Sawu’s Ntabazinduna Prison beat Plumtree Chiefs 2-0 on Saturday to derail their five-match unbeaten run. Chiefs had started the season on a high which saw them going for five games without a defeat or even conceding a goal. Sawu had before the Zifa Southern Region Division One encounter promised a hostile environment for the 2013 champions as both teams wanted to preserve their unbeaten runs.
Goals from James Chibara and Fidelis Dube gave the prison warders three points and extended their unbeaten run to six matches.

The former Warriors, Zimbabwe Saints and Dynamos star striker, was happy with the home win after outclassing Thulani Sibanda’s outfit.
“We out-played them, but as you know Chiefs are a tricky outfit.

“Our target is to collect three points every game. I am proud we did that, now we have to keep on fighting. The season is still young so we must maintain our chances,” said Sawu.

Chiefs, in spite of the defeat, are still on top of the table with 13 points.
Sibanda and his young charges now have to go back to the drawing board and correct their mistakes.

Ntabazinduna are sixth with nine points and a game in hand.
In other matches Technosphere squandered a chance to shoot to the top of the table as they were held to a goalless draw by Nust.
Ambitious Tshotsholo failed to capitalise on the top two’s slip-up after as they also played a goalless draw against Elephant FC, formerly Jumbos.
