Nude haven in Byo as strip club opens

SECURITY details at Private Lounge in Bulawayo had a tough time chasing away uninvited guests on Wednesday when the strip club hosted an exclusive party.

The new club’s management had invited the city’s trendsetters to sample the joint before its official opening tonight, something which clearly did not go down well with most club goers who also wanted to have a preview of the spot.

But while gatecrashers were trying to talk their way into the club, those inside were having the time of their lives with an overflow of drinks. However, what was meant to be the highlight of their gathering turned out to be a sneak peak as they only had under 30 minutes to witness pole dancers gyrating on the poles.

Many had hoped to watch the girls strip, but that did not happen as club managers who led the way in tipping the dancers said the invited guests needed to pay to watch more. Unfortunately, most had gone with a free-for-all attitude as no one seemed willing to part with their money, forcing the dancers to leave the stage in a huff.

Fortunately, the action continues tonight with revellers being treated to non-stop action from DJs Liz, Crazy Black, Mellow T and Emity Smooth. And for all those who were left hanging on Wednesday, over 10 dancers/strippers are on standby tonight to ensure patrons are not short-changed.

Entry has been pegged at $5 before 10PM though the price will highly likely go up if the place gets swarmed.

A klieg/spotlight similar to the one at the club in Harare was switched on on Wednesday to guide people to the venue and the bright light will be hovering around the spot the whole night.

A package for those intending to travel to Bulawayo from Harare for the launch has also been arranged at the hotel with very affordable prices to ensure people do not get homeless while in the city of Kings and Queens.

Thelma Zuva, the club’s manager, said patrons would be spoilt for choice tonight as the club is a one-stop shop which has four bars — cocktail, beer garden, night club and a private lounge. They all serve food.
