HIGH-FLYING Zim dancehall singer, Nutty O, has been roped in on the remake of legendary reggae musician Bob Marley’s Album Africa Unite.
The album is set to be released on August 4.
The track he is working on is named “So Much Trouble In The World”.
The track, which showcases the incredible vocal Nutty O, was produced by Zimbabwean DJ Tamuka.
Nutty O, who is riding on the success of his recent 31st birthday bash, has also released a single Makanonoka.
He has been making hits, which include Zvakawanda Zviri Loading.
The album features the likes of Davido, Rema, Sarkodie, Ayra Starr, Tiwa Savage, Fireboy DML, Oxlade, Teni, Patoranking and Afro Beach reworking a Bob Marley classic.
The track So Much Trouble in the World is a song by Bob Marley and the Wailers.
It was released in 1979 off their album Survival released in the same year.
The song peaked at number 56 in the UK charts.
The new album’s version of “Three Little Birds” featuring Teni and Oxlade was released two days ago.
Nutty O’s appeal continues to rise with each passing day owing to his creative edge.
He has been evolving as an artist.
The Mbare-based chanter, who sings in both English and Shona, has amassed a number of awards locally.
He has also been commended for collaborating with some of the continent and Jamaica’s finest artists.
