ZIMDANCEHALL musician Nutty O’s former manager, Diana Elisha Nheera, takes pride in having served the award-winning star and playing a pivotal role in transforming his fame and fortune.
The duo’s musical partnership ended last week, with the Mbare-bred chanter parting ways with Nheera after a successful seven-year collaboration.
In a statement, Nheera—better known as The Talent Whisperer—shared her reflections: “With love, commitment, and an unwavering passion for music, I have walked a journey with Nutty O that has been nothing short of extraordinary.
“Together, we poured our hearts into building something greater than the sum of its parts—a brand that not only resonates with fans but stands as a testament to what vision and hard work can achieve.
“I look back on our time with deep admiration for the path we carved. From the studio to the stage, from the quiet moments of planning to the loud echoes of success, we built a legacy rooted in purpose, integrity, and belief.
“We created and nurtured Mustard Seed, a body of work that continues to inspire, earning accolades such as Outstanding Album and Outstanding Artist of the Year at the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA), Album of the Year and Best Dancehall Artist at the Zimbabwe Music Awards (ZIMA), and six Star FM Listener’s Choice Awards.
“In my role, we were also honoured with the Outstanding Talent Manager Award (Arts) and Best Artist Manager at the Zim Community Trailblazers Awards and the Zim Reggae Dancehall Merit Awards, respectively.”
She also highlighted their efforts to expand their global reach, performing on international stages with pride.
“Together, we built a digital powerhouse where millions connected with the music and the message behind it. Nutty O emerged as a symbol of excellence, discipline, and creative fire—a brand that is resolute and will stand the test of time.
“As life unfolds, we must embrace new chapters. It is in this spirit that I step away from my role as Nutty O’s manager. This decision comes with nothing but gratitude, pride, and a profound belief that what we’ve built will continue to shine brightly,” she added.
