Ladies’ man Nyasha David received a seal of approval from his fans on Friday evening during Fusion 5 Mangwiro’s 10th

anniversary in music as they screamed and chanted his name at Theatre in the Park.

The ‘Nokusingaperi’ hit-maker serenaded lovebirds with the track ‘Rudo’, while the song ‘Mariana’, a timeless classic, left fans

in awe.

Part of the line-up included Chengeto Brown, who played her late mother’s all-time classics like ‘Wandirasa’ and ‘Ivai Nesu’.

Not to be outdone was Noku, who also performed at the show.

New kid on the block, Prince Avalon, put up a spirited performance with a rendition of the late Oliver Mtukudzi’s ‘Daisy’ and

 

Steve Makoni’s ‘Handiende’, before sampling his own offering ‘Usipo’.

As the band celebrated its 10th anniversary, it acknowledged the support it has received from fans with a collaborative effort

from Mwenje Mathole namely ‘Kuhope’ and ‘Bonde’.
