OH Legends FC secretary for fixtures, Malcolm Banisy, said they are optimistic this would be a great year for their club as they seek to continue their dominance in the social football league.
OH Legends won most of their games last year.
“We finished 2023 on a high note and we are looking forward to continuing that streak. It always lifts our spirits each time we win games.
“Playing is the main agenda, and not just winning. We have to build new relationships business-wise with our opponents, who in the long run turn out to be our business mates.
“We have not yet decided when we will resume our games. We have to give our boys time to finish preparing for schools’ opening before we commence,” he said.
Most social football clubs are still on a break and they are expected to return to action next week. Social football has been hailed for helping people socialise and strike business opportunities.
