Oh what a night!!! This was the general feeling among many who graced the Private Lounge opening in Bulawayo last Friday. The strip club, the first in the city, was an instant hit judging by the hundreds who thronged Cecil Hotel to have a glimpse of the new joint. As one entered the venue, they were met by a bevy of beauties, who depending on one’s ticket – VIP or regular – escorted guests into the Private Lounge which is located in the basement. Security was strict as they searched each reveller using metal detectors to ensure no weapons made their way inside. Not to be outdone were police officers who were hovering around waiting for opportunities to arrest rowdy people.
Upon arrival downstairs, it was clear the game had changed in the city as all the attention was on stage where more beautiful and scantily dressed women showcased their assets, often teasing patrons to tip them. Worryingly, no $100 note was seen on stage as most patrons decided to tip with $1 notes with some attempting to tip using bond coins. Those who tipped, especially with meaningful amounts, got warm smiles from the strippers who would respond with a lap dance or fondling the patrons.
And to most patrons’ excitement, the country’s most talented raunchy dancers – Bev Sibanda and Zoey were in the house, closely following proceedings on stage as well, before making a cameo appearance.
Bev started dancing sensually to slow music and patrons began cheering her, with some dolling out $1 notes to entice her to strip. Disappointingly, she did not and only resorted to performing with a male patron on stage, something which is not out of the ordinary.
The club’s resident strippers, in a bid to outshine Bev, got on stage with one of them carrying a bag filled with her tools of the trade. Like Bev who introduced the bottle dance, where she would insert a bottle into her privates, one of the strippers took a dildo, lubricated her privates with lotion and inserted the device into her privates. Most men in the crowd ogled and salivated while they threw $1 notes at her, urging and cheering her to do more, while the dildo was being slowly inserted in and out by the stripper.
As if that was not enough, she removed the dildo and started sucking on it.
As that was happening, those in the VIP section had personalised strippers gyrating for them among other x-rated dance moves under the veil of darkness away from prying eyes.
But, what made the new club even more popular among revellers was the fact that there were four different parties taking place under one roof at one time. Various options were provided as Judgement Yard was on the top deck pumping dancehall tunes in one of the hotel’s halls. Just next to the strippers lounge was a club with a completely different environment where mostly house music was played. On the top deck again was a cocktail bar, mainly for those who just want to interact with not much distraction.
As a result, most bars around the city did not have much patronage as it seems most club goers were stuck underground up until 5AM when most clubs had long closed doors. But, the lounge may want to work on their air conditioning as many were forced to go upstairs for fresh air as it soon got stuffy after it was too packed. It even got difficult following proceedings on stage as there was too much movement with everyone trying to secure the perfect spot for the perfect view. On Saturday though, a decent crowd attended and otherwise had personalised service from the dancers as the club was not full.
However, some perverts went home sad as they had hoped to see the erotic dancers in their birthday suits. “I wanted to see them go naked! I was disappointed that they didn’t do so. I tried to entice them the whole night with the $1 notes. Anyway I enjoyed,” said a reveller who declined to be named. For those who missed the action, Private Lounge opens everyday at 6PM with the ladies always on standby to satisfy revellers.
