OK Zimbabwe Profile
Ok Zimbabwe is proud to run the 23rd OK Grand Challenge Horse race, along with the usual promotional activities that have helped change the retail promotional landscape over the past 23 years. This year, the OK Grand Challenge Jackpot Promotion received overwhelming support from our partners and customers with 52 corporate partners and in excess of 90 products participating in the event.
Of the partners, 10 are what we choose to call our “Extra Mile Partners”. These partners have gone the extra mile and were offering various high profile and life changing prizes throughout the seven-week duration of the promotion.

The Buddie Gives You More
Campaign

Buddie has this year unveiled a massive campaign dubbed “Buddie Gives you more” which explains in depth the various services that customers will enjoy on their Buddie line.
With at least 12 exciting value added services under Buddie, Econet is delivering more value by giving customers the widest variety of products and services, which are aimed at making the lives of customers more convenient.

The value added services available on Buddie are broken down into those that offer connectivity, value, travel and facilitate for our customers to talk.

Chibuku Road to Fame
The Chibuku brand has had one strong promotional campaign in Chibuku Road to Fame that has helped tie the 360 degree communication neatly for the brand over the years.
The Chibuku Road to Fame has been in existence since 2000 and is regarded as a big event on the national calendar attracting a lot of following and publicity. The campaign has demonstrated strong corporate social responsibility through search of raw talent in music and dance and resuscitating once forgotten groups to life.

The promotional competitions begin at provincial level culminating to the national finals that have traditionally been held in the Glamis Arena in Harare.
