OLD Hararians will be looking for revenge when they take on bitter rivals Harare Sports Club in the Super Rugby League in their backyard this afternoon. Sports Club are undefeated in all their fixtures this season. The Old Boys were beaten 35-22 in their first game against Sportivo. Old Hararians captain Tichafara Makwanya is confident that his side will defeat Sports Club.
“We have really improved compared to how we started the league, we struggled in our first three matches because last year the NRL stopped before the end of the season.
“It is going to be a challenge beating Sportivo, it is going to be a big derby, there is a long history as well as long rivalry .
“These are the two biggest teams in the country.
“Although we lost against them in an away match, this time we are going to use home advantage and aim for a win.
“Sports Club are unbeaten so far and this shows the quality of players which they have. We have a lot of respect for them and they are coming to our home ground,” said Makwanya.
