OLEKSANDR USYK calls out ‘greedy belly’ Tyson Fury for triology fight as he names three bouts before retiring

OLEKSANDR USYK has revealed the three names he wants to cross off his hitlist before hanging up his gloves.

The two-time undisputed heavyweight champion is nearing the end of his Hall-of-Fame boxing career.

Usyk, 39, recently revealed he intends to keep fighting until the ripe old age of 41.

That revelation surprised boxing fans as he’s already claimed undisputed glory at cruiser and heavyweight.

Equally as surprising is the slick southpaw’s next opponent, kickboxing icon Rico Verhoeven.

The pair will clash in a pyramid punch-up for the WBC heavyweight title in Egypt on May 23.

Dutch destroyer Verhoeven is the first of three fighters Usyk plans to lay out before calling it a day.

And he hopes to round out his career with a trilogy against a former two-time king of the heavyweights, Tyson Fury.

The undefeated Ukrainian told Ring Magazine: “Rico is first.

“Second is whoever wins between [Fabio] Wardley and [Daniel] Dubois.

“And third fight is my friend, greedy belly, Tyson Fury.”

Usyk and Fury traded heavy leather twice in 2024, with the former winning both of their Saudi showdowns.

Fury, 37, felt hard done by after both fights, which he still, to this day, believes he won.

The Gypsy King will look to grease the wheels for a potential trilogy with Usyk when he makes his ring return on April 11.

The Wythenshawe warrior will be welcomed back to the ring by bear-wrestling Russian Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fury’s ring return, which will be preceded by Conor Benn’s clash with Regis Prograis, will air live on Netflix. -The Sun
