Online payment for city bills

MUTARE City Council is encouraging ratepayers to use the local authority’s online payment platform to settle their bills.

 

As well as ensuring that their banking halls are not crowded in line with preventive measures of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, the move is also meant to bring convenience to the public.

 

The online payments can be made using mobile money platforms Ecocash, Onemoney and Telecash, the city council said in a statement.

 

“To all our esteemed customers and stakeholders, notice is hereby given that the local authority now has an online payment platform. City of Mutare is encouraging residents and stakeholders to use the online payment platform which brings convenience in settling bills.

 

“Once you pay, the system automatically effects and updates the transaction on your account,” reads the statement in part.

 

Besides making payments, the online platform is also useful in terms of balance inquiry, statement requests and payments history, the statement added.

 

Customers can access the online payments platform on https://pay4it.promun.co.zw/ and are prompted to follow the instructions.
