Organic foods fiesta

Organic foods manufacturer Vegan Friendly Products that specialises in healthy foods recently held a food fair in Harare. It was a fantastic moment for those who cared about their health. People from all walks of life were keen to know the kind of products offered by the company after they were widely advertised on social media.

The company offers a wide range of natural foods which boost the immune system.
According to Vegan Friendly Products business development manager Mr Albert Muparuri, their aim is to provide the nation with unprocessed plant based products.

He said unprocessed foods were healthier compared to other food products.
“Our mission is to be the leading distributor of healthy living products and services in Zimbabwe and beyond to create a healthy people in a disease afflicted world,” he said.

“We thrive to provide the best close to best untempered plant based products.
“Our products are not tempered in the sense that they are not contaminated with food additives that we find in most products such as food colourants, preservatives and many more artefacts to improve odour, taste and shelf life of products.”

People who thronged the official opening of Vegan Friendly Products had an opportunity to sample some of the delicious products offered by the company including sun dried nuts, smoothies, roasted nuts, and rapoko sadza.

Vegan’s products can be grouped into three categories that include direct farm produce- in the form of grains such as sugar beans, round nuts, peanuts, maize grain and sunflower seed. The other group comprises processed farm produce – soya bean, grains, and nuts derivatives such as soya butter, soya nuggets and peanut butter.

Vegan also provides cooked – meals that are free from additives and are 100 percent plant based snacks that are produced under natural and healthy conditions.

Mr Muparuri said they wanted Vegan Friendly Products to be the leading distributor of healthy living products and services in Zimbabwe and beyond to create a healthy people in a disease afflicted world. – Lifestyle Writer
