A TOTAL of 207 students who completed their technical courses graduated last Friday at Kadoma’s Life Technical Training Institute.

The graduates are expected to use the knowledge that they acquired to complement the Government’s efforts to build the economy and proffer lasting solutions to the country’s challenges.

The students graduated in different disciplines such as tourism and hospitality, motor mechanics, beauty therapy, early childhood development education, electrical engineering, welding and fabrication, carpentry, garment construction, and horticulture under the Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO).

The college was set up by a 29-year-old Kadoma youth, Mr Andrew Mugabe to empower fellow youths with skills to earn a living by offering hands-on and practical disciplines.

A holder Bachelor of Education degree in Youth Development Studies, Mr Mugabe believes the initiative dovetails with National Development Strategies and Vision 2030.

He is also a founder of the ABLE community-based organisation, a Zanu PF member and head of finance for MenBelievED Mashonaland West Chapter.
