BULAWAYO police are investigating an alleged armed robbery case where US$25 918 was seized in Cowdray Park last Friday.
A gang of three, armed with a pistol, allegedly attacked a family in the sprawling suburb before grabbing the cash, cell phones and other valuables.
“The three unknown suspects who were armed with an unknown firearm and a pistol attacked a couple and other family members in Cowdray Park and got away with US$25 918 in cash, five cell phones and a wrist watch,” said the police in a statement on X, formerly Twitter.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects to report at any nearest police station.
