HARARE’S nightlife is set for a major boost with the arrival of the Pabloz Franchise which is set to be launched this Friday at Sam Levy’s Village in Borrowdale.

A brainchild of Eventworx, an entertainment and events company, Pabloz is set to bring back the glory that was once celebrated by Mekka, H2O and Leonardo’s.

The franchise comprises of Pabloz Club with state-of-the-art sound and lighting in a futuristic setting. Pabloz VIP is an exceptionally charming cocktail lounge with plenty of comfortable seating, a modern bar, classy decor and stage for live performances in a cool environment designed for unwinding and total relaxation.

The third installation in the franchise is Pabloz VVIP, a very private, plush and exclusive executive lounge with all the very best high-end liquors, cigars and exquisite gourmet dining experience. This section is, however, still under renovation and will only be operational next month.

Eventworx marketing manager, Lyndon Kapuya, said Harare has to brace for an ultimate clubbing experience.

“We are promising Hararians a clubbing experience like no other and the launch is certainly going to speak volumes about what the future holds. We have renovated H2O, Leonardo’s and Mekka, which we have rebranded to Pabloz Clun, Pabloz VIP and Pabloz VVIP respectively. It is going to be exquisite,” Kapuya said.

For the launch weekend, Eventworx has enlisted the services of some of the most sought-after artistes on the continent in the mould of South African house group Crazy White Boy and Nigerian star Burna Boy.

Crazy White Boy is set to get the ball rolling on Friday with their kwaito style that has come to be known as “Ghetto Tech”. The gold and platinum selling duo will be treating the crowd with their chart-topping hits, which include “Love You Better”, “What You do to Me” and “Zoma”, just to mention a few.

Crazy White Boy has shared the stage with the likes of David Guetta, Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso, among other top artistes.

On Saturday Burna Boy, one of the most celebrated dancehall artistes on the continent will get the party going with his versatile and unique sound that blends dancehall, Afro-beat, R & B and Hip-Hop.

Burna Boy has established himself among the elite on the international music scene and his hook on AKA’s hit “All Eyes on Me” has become a club anthem of sorts.

His 2012 single “Like to Party” saw him shoot to stardom and he has since released other bangers including “Tonight”, “Celebrate”, “Yawa Dey”, “Run My Race” and Don Gorgon among others.

The award winning star has been nominated for several international awards including the South African Music Awards and MTV Africa Music Awards.

Eventworx has previously hosted several top gigs featuring artistes like Mafikizolo, Loyiso, DJ Cindo, Lady Cream, Pascal and Pierce as well as DJ Dino Bravo.
