TWO armed robbers, who allegedly pointed a pistol at a fuel attendant in Belleview suburb, Bulawayo, before violently pushing him to the ground, kicking his colleague, and robbing him of US$4 405 and R1 350, have appeared in court.
Chrisvision Ncube (32) and Njabulo Wisdom Nyoni (30) appeared before Bulawayo Regional Magistrate, Mr Taurai Manuwere, facing charges of armed robbery.
Ncube and Nyoni, who were not asked to plead, were remanded in custody to November 4, 2025. Mr Manuwere advised the pair to apply for bail at the High Court.

The court heard that on October 4, 2025, the pair, travelling in a black Honda Fit, were accompanied by an accomplice identified only as Mduduzi, who is on the run. The trio allegedly raided Redan Garage armed with a pistol.
Upon arrival, they reportedly pointed the firearm at fuel attendant Mr Casper Musesengwe, who was carrying a satchel containing US$4 405 and R1 350. In a state of panic, Musesengwe threw the satchel to his co-worker, Mr Lawrence Sibanda.
It is alleged that Nyoni charged at Mr Sibanda, kicked him in the stomach and threatened to shoot him. Mr Sibanda then handed over the satchel to the accused persons, who fled the scene in their vehicle heading towards the city centre.
A few minutes later, detectives from the Homicide Department arrived at the scene. Acting swiftly and using information from a wider network of sources, they established that the getaway vehicle had been spotted in Bulawayo’s Pelandaba suburb.
The detectives rushed to the location and found Nyoni and Ncube, who had already changed their clothes and were preparing to leave for the city centre. They were then arrested.
Following their arrest, police recovered a pistol, US$1 322 and R770.
