Palestinian ambassador calls on VP Mohadi

PALESTINIAN Ambassador to Zimbabwe Dr Tamer Almassri paid a courtesy call on Vice President Kembo Mohadi at his Munhumutapa offices in Harare this morning to discuss bilateral relations which exist between the two countries.

Speaking after the meeting, Ambassador Almassri said they discussed several issues, ranging from bilateral relations to the issue of Palestinian people who are languishing at the hands of Israel.

The meeting also sought to further ties between the two countries.

“Such cooperation tends to yield positive outcomes and this alone will enable Palestine to reach its full potential,” he said

“I was received by VP Mohadi just to update him about what is happening in Palestine, especially the genocide attack by Israel on our people in Gaza. We also exchanged solidarity messages between our two countries.”

Going forward, he said greater effort would be placed on dovetailing both countries’ developmental efforts as they face similar challenges, such as illegal sanctions.
