Leading manufacturer of clothing garments in Zimbabwe, Paramount Archer warehouse caught fire on Monday and the fire is still raging on.

One of the workers who refused to be named fearing expulsion by management for talking to the media without clearance said despite the fire brigade being there since Monday, they have not been any change up until today.

“The fire was discovered Monday morning when we started work, we only saw smoke in the morning.

“We tried looking for the fire, removing boxes and clothes, but all was in vain as we were only seeing smoke in the warehouse,” he said.

“From Monday, the Fire Brigade has been here but nothing seems to change.”

The worker could not give further details as the guards warned him of the consequences that come with speaking about company affairs, especially the issue of the fire.
