Caltex Braford Lubricants has renovated Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals’ A4 Chemotherapy Room in support of children battling cancer.
The room was clinically transformed by equipping it with modern amenities to provide a supportive environment for children to receive treatment.
Speaking during the hand-over ceremony, the hospital’s director of operations, Mr Orient Dube said the donation was timely and will go a long way in supporting children battling cancer.
“The renovated chemo room will undoubtedly sharpen our arsenal in the fight against cancer and will certainly lead to success stories,” said Mr Dube.
Caltex Braford Lubricants managing director, Mr George Mudanga said donating to healthcare facilities like these is an investment in society’s future.
“We were moved by the challenges faced by young patients battling cancer.
“We understand the emotional and physical toll that such serious illnesses take on families and we believe that easing that burden, even in a small way, can make a significant difference,” said Mr Mudanga.
