Pastor defaults on maintenance

maintenance and school fees for his two children amounting to US$1 060.

Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Godfrey Unzemoyo, granted Donny Mauka US$20 bail for the alleged offence.
The State is alleging that on January 18 this year, Ms Ntombizodzwa Vingirai took Mauka to the maintenance court to compel him to pay maintenance and school fees for his two children with effect from January 31 this year.

Mauka was to pay US$250 per month and US$270 per term for maintenance and school fees respectively.
He failed to pay the school fees for three terms.

The arrears have thus accrued to US$1 060.
The trial continues on September 26.
