Pastor G settles in Botswana Quits Power FM’s gospel hour show

has been living in Botswana with his family for the past four years and he says he could not continue coming back every fortnight  to present his show on radio.
“There has been so much work on my part and I couldn’t come home every two weeks because of my busy schedule. I am now living in Botswana because my wife runs a consultancy firm there and I had to move there to join the rest of the family,” he said.

The Herald caught up with Pastor G, born Stanley Gwanzura, at a city hotel where he spoke passionately about gospel music as well as his upcoming album due for release later this year.
“I am in the process of recording my next studio album and in between I am busy with school and very soon I will be doing my dissertation so I am busy but I haven’t given up

on music,” he said.

Currently studying for a media degree with Zimbabwe Open University, Pastor G said he has settled well in Botswana but complained of the sweltering heat.
Besides recording music, he and Pastor Prince Mafukidze staged a  successful concert in South Africa some two weeks ago.

“We intend to do follow-up shows Down South in the coming weeks,” he said.
His last performance at the Harare International Conference Centre where he curtain raised for American singer Kirk Franklin was one of the best in recent years.

During the show, Pastor G used the opportunity to introduce his latest dance called “Helicopter”, which left  the crowd in awe.
While the new dance was a hit, Pastor G also wowed fans with his designer costumes proving how much of a fashion icon he is to the youths.
