TOP Zimbabwe coach Callisto Pasuwa has been appointed the interim head of the technical panel of Malawi national senior football team, the Flames with immediate effect.
Pasuwa, who has dominated the Malawi football scene winning several trophies including the league title five times in a row with Nyasa Big Bullets, was appointed following an urgent virtual meeting by the Malawi Association of Football on Friday.
This follows some disappointing results by Malawi in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The legendary former Warriors player who also won four league titles on the trot with Dynamos between 2011 and 2014 will be assisted by Peter Mponda and Pritchard Mwanza with Kinnah Phiri and Young Chimodzi the technical advisors.
