BLACK Mambas Queens player Pauline Jani on Saturday scooped the golden hand medal at the Rainbow Netball League (RANL) 2022 Awards.

Pauline scored more than 1 000 goals to become voted shooter of the year, and bagged US$300.

“I want to thank Glow Petroleum for recognising our efforts,” said Pauline.

“I want to take this opportunity to urge people out there that hard work pays. Mari hainongwe asi kuti inoshandirwa,” she said.

Pauline, a policewoman, was part of the ZRP’s squad for the Southern Africa Regional Police Chiefs Corporation (SARPCCO) Games.

She helped Zimbabwe defend its netball title for the sixth time in a row at the Games.

Pauline’s teammate, Cynthia Gamuchirai, was voted the best goal defender.
