PAULINE RELEASES GOSPEL SONG

Laura Maposa

URBAN grooves musician, Pauline Gundidza, has released a gospel song titled Emanuere, which chronicles her challenges.

In an interview with H-Metro, Pauline said she was now eyeing the international market.

“It’s a gospel song, which was written based on real life situations that we were going through.

“The initial idea came from Simon Marah and then he invited me to collaborate with him.

“The song speaks about the struggles of life.

“At some point, we all need God’s interventions to fight depression and other hardships.

“As a country, we are coming from a pandemic that left all of us broken, hence we came with this song,” she said.

She assured her fans that she was set to release another song next week.

“I am also going to drop a new video next week and I have also partnered with Simon again.

 “It’s a song that I released in 2019 called Ndakakumirira but I couldn’t shoot a video because of Covid-19.”

Added Pauline: “It will be my first solo video and I am super excited.

“I have also opened a studio in Highfield, it is going to be a safe space for new artists.

“It’s a way of empowering the girl because they are being taken advantage of in trying to get studio time.”
