MUSICIAN Patrick Kahlari, famously known as Peekay, who struck gold by recording a duet with Jamaican star Busy Signal in May this year, is set to release a music video of the song early next month.
Show Me Love was recorded in the United States and Jamaica and released on June 6.
Speaking through his manager Kevin Kumire, Peekay said a massive launch would be held for the video release in Harare and Jamaica.

“November is the scheduled month for the video release. We never announced that the video was going to be released in August and a world class release party has been set for Harare and perhaps one in Jamaica,” he said.

Kumire said the video is poised to change the game on how the world looks at Zimbabwe and how Zimbabwean artistes work.
“The video is going to have an international appeal and we’re expecting that it’ll make it into any market in the world. This is definitely a first for Zimbabwe,” he said.

Kumire said in the video there is a cameo appearance by Jay Reed of Badboy Entertainment, Ciroc Boys and Invincible Bully.
On the video, Peekay also showcases his clothing line Heavywait Clothing Company.

The musician is riding high with his collaborative single with BaShupi Ma1 which has become an anthem in nightspots and is receiving fair attention on different radio stations.

Peekay’s collaboration with Busy Signal is likely to open doors for locals wishing to record with international artistes and he has of late been dazzling the small screen with his video for the track Letting Go which is already being played on Multichoice’s Channel O.

The video for Ma1 features prominent figures like Sulumani Chimbetu and former Big Brother Africa housemate Pokello Nare.
