THE government has moved pay dates for all pensioners to next week. Pretty Sunguro, the secretary for Public Service Commission (PSC) said the government through the Ministry of Finance will have paid the salary of all pensioners by December 10. She said the PSC regretted any inconvenience caused by the change in the pay dates.
“War veterans’ pension, war veterans’ spouse and children’s pension, ex-political prisoners, detainees and restrictees’ spouse and children’s pensions, and national heroes’ spouses and children’s pension will be paid on December 8 whereas the rest of the pensioners will be paid on December 10 this year,” she said in a statement.
