MAMELODI Sundowns team manager Peter Ndlovu is impressed with the team’s new jersey for their away games next season. The strip was unveiled on Friday afternoon at a sportswear shop Studio88 at Church Square in Pretoria. The Brazilians will wear their Nike blue tops in all their away games and wear the yellow jerseys for all their home games.

Sundowns management, players and some of their die-hard supporters attended the unveiling ceremony.
All the players were allowed to embrace the team’s supporters through taking photos and signing autographs for them before they quickly left for  training.

Team captain Alje Schut, Teko Modise and Bongani Zungu were asked to remain behind entertaining the fans.
The former Coventry City striker Peter “Nsukuzonke” Ndlovu told Chronicle Sport: “I’m happy with the new jersey which will surely motivate us. Sundowns is a big team and as champions we have to make sure that we are well prepared when we start our league games.

“The other thing that makes us proud as the Sundowns big family is to see that our supporters are happy and taken care of.”
The former Highlanders winger spoke about the Zimbabwe tour where they were forced to play in closed stadia after the Premier Soccer League reversed an earlier decision to sanction the matches.
