The Parliament of Zimbabwe has allowed physical portfolio committee meetings to resume but will be attended only by those fully vaccinated legislators and administration staff.
Those not vaccinated but keen to attend will have to produce a PCR Covid-19 test with negative results.
This was announced by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Cde Tsitsi Gezi in the Chamber this afternoon.
Before the latest announcement, Parliament had banned physical meetings, directing that only virtual meetings would be allowed following the decision by the Government to be at Level Four national lockdown.
The decision to relax meeting conditions followed an announcement by President Mnangagwa on Tuesday, easing national lockdown conditions to Level Two following a steady decline in national infection rates and deaths.
