President Mnangagwa has left the country for Pretoria, South Africa, where he will tomorrow lead Zimbabwe’s delegation to the Fourth Session of the South Africa–Zimbabwe Bi-National Commission (BNC), a key platform for strengthening bilateral political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The President was seen off at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by Vice Presidents Dr Constantino Chiwenga and Dr Kembo Mohadi, Service Chiefs and senior Government officials.
The Fourth Session of the BNC is expected to review progress in implementing agreements reached between Zimbabwe and South Africa and deepen cooperation across areas including trade and investment, infrastructure, energy, transport and security.
The meeting comes as the two neighbouring countries seek to further strengthen economic ties and address challenges affecting bilateral trade and investment.
