Harare regional magistrate Mrs Marehwanazvo Gofa is set to deliver her ruling on the bail application that was filed by a Harare man whose pitbulls fatally attacked a passerby in Bluffhill last month.

Mike Mapinga is facing charges of culpable homicide.

The State alleges that Mapinga, the owner of three pit bulls and a Rottweiler, acted negligently by leaving his unmuzzled dogs unsupervised at his rented property.

The dogs reportedly scaled the low wall and attacked Samuel Machara as he was walking along a nearby street.

Machara died due to the injuries he sustained.
