THERE is nothing more fulfilling than putting a smile on someone’s face, especially on Christmas Day.
This is the mission of Evolution Charity Trust founder, Ambassador Zenzo Siziba who will host a Children’s Christmas Party on Thursday at Percy Ibbotson Remand Home and Hostel in Bulawayo.
Siziba, who is also an author and a poet, said the initiative serves to better the lives of the needy at a time when making ends meet is hard.
“Our aim is to improve the welfare of members of our society through counselling, refurbishment of children homes and taking them to some of the finest places Zimbabwe has to offer,” he said.
In partnership with a host of organisations, Siziba believes the event will be a success and will put a smile on the children’s faces.
“We’ve partnered with quite a number of organisations to collect donations in order to give the children an early Christmas.
We’re thankful for all the sponsors who heeded the call and donated to the cause,” he said.
Siziba appealed to other organisations and individuals to emulate the organisations that have donated generously towards the event.
He said the commodities mobilised include cooking oil, rice, sugar, stationery and sanitary pads.
Siziba said artistes have been invited to provide entertainment and these are Sox The Poet, Junior Garnet, Absoll luz, Dr MTK, King Zigger (Jnr Killer T), Focus Mr Focky and Chester. — @eMKlass_49
