Annabel, Selly of Ghana and Nigerian Melvin.
It’s a battle of divas and hustler as Melvin — the holier than thou – chose to put himself up for eviction.
Is she a strong contender in the House or she is unwanted because of her personality which is posh, charming and superficial not forgetting swag?
While the rest of Africa loves her, this week the tables might have turned for as it is tight.
Her Ghanaian vote might go to Selly while Nigerian votes can be counted out because of her blast on Sunday to Melvin after she found out he had swapped Hakeem.
Not only that, the Nigerians, is also forced to vote for their housemate too.
The presence of Malawian Natasha and Kenyan Selly means the Eastern syndicate which includes Tanzania and Uganda will likely settle for the two.
It’s obvious since Pokello is not going along with Feza and Malawian evictee Fatima who used to have a fling with Elikem, they won’t vote for her.
Some say Ethiopia might also join the bloc, resulting in Pokello and Cleo jostling for the Southern Africa vote from countries such as Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia.
Interestingly, the game is full of twists and turns but the good times are over – it’s now a backstabbing and revenge game.
If it were to change the name, it should be Big Brother-Hunters Game.
On Monday during nominations in the diary, Oneal shocked Africa by saving Elikem with Selly while Melvin had to leave the nominations as they are.
It is a good strategy or it’s a case of wanting Africa to understand and feel for him after the Sunday drama.
Hopefully, history won’t repeat itself. Remember the Uti and Munyaradzi Chidzonga case which had all the elements of conspiracy.
It’s now obvious that beef has mounted between Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
We all know the “Queen of Swag” can twerk (dance), which this is what Africa wants.
Will Pokello be evicted this Sunday,? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Cleo cries for Hakeem
After Hakeem’s shock eviction on Sunday night, Cleo is trying to pick up the pieces.
Being separated from the one who holds your heart is never easy. On Monday evening, the sexy Zambian let her tears speak in the Diary Room as she tried to come to terms with her man’s exit. With tears streaming down her face, Cleo broke down as she spoke about the wonderful times she and Hakeem shared in the Big Brother House.
After her Diary Session, the Zambian expressed as much, in a conversation with fellow Diamond Chasemates Bimp and Nando.
“I really miss Hakeem guys. I really do. So bad”, she said. Bimp gave her an understanding smile and a reassuring pat on the hand, while Nando was a lot more philosophical about the situation. “So are you saying you want to be nominated like him?” he asked.
These words from Nando are cryptic, considering how Cleo was a popular choice in the Diamonds nomination sessions yesterday morning. The Zambian just might be following her man Hakeem home if she doesn’t survive this Sunday’s evictions.
Cleo has constantly expressed her love for Hakeem, despite the problems the two lovebirds were faced with prior to Hakeem’s eviction. The Zimbabwean housemate had already started doubting Cleo’s feelings for him after a conversation with Fatima following one of the Channel O parties.
In a Diary Session with Big Brother, the evicted hunk told Biggie pointblank that he thought Cleo’s feelings weren’t genuine. “I think it’s all part of the game. Fatima warned me that she could be doing this for the game,” the Zimbabwean had said.
How will Cleo react when she finds out she just could be on the next flight home? – DStv.
The Diamonds vs Pokello
The Diamonds spent most of their night discussing Pokello.
It seems ever since Feza walked into the Diamond House, the main topic of conversation has been Pokello. This is surprising considering the fact that Feza has revealed before that she and Pokello are cool. “There’s no beef between us, but there is a bit of tension on her side,” she said in one of her Diary Sessions.
Tanzania’s Nando even went as far as promising his fellow Chasemates he will throw ice or Red Bull at Pokello during this Saturday’s Channel O party.
Bimp reckons Pokello conspired to get him his first nomination last week. The Ethiopian has clearly forgotten that it took more than one vote from his fellow housemates for him to make the Nominations list.
Bassey, who has been somewhat of a bestie to Pokello, told the gang “when I saved her, I went back to Biggie and told him I had made a mistake”. When Beverly touched on Pokello’s relationship with Elikem, Annabel tried to be the voice of reason and told her fellow Diamonds “Let’s not attack her relationship with Elikem. Let them make their own mistakes and let’s not judge,” she said.
What is interesting to note though is that the conversation seemed to come back time and time again to the fact that Pokello has a lot of money.
When Pokello was in the Diamond House, everything seemed fine and no one attempted to address whatever beef they might have with the Zimbabwean.
Why is the entire Diamond House up in arms? Is there a bit of jealousy at play here or are the Diamonds spot on with their observations?
It’s interesting to note how the Chasemates all picked Pokello as the “Alpha female’’ in the Big Brother game, when put on the spot by Big Brother. Share your thoughts. What’s with the drama? – DStv.
The booze Chase
Bimp and Bassey have morphed into quite the booze stashers.
These two, who are as thick as thieves, showed off deft skill when they invaded the storeroom and had their pick of the finest alcohol on offer.
Once they had hidden the alcohol in their clothes, the two calmly walked out of the storeroom and rushed upstairs to hide their bounty, away from prying eyes, with Melvin and Nando in tow. When will the Diamond girls finally catch on to the fact that these two have been stashing? We know alcohol is as important as oxygen in the Big Brother house, as evidenced by the many fights that have popped off because of it.
One incident which comes to mind is the Saturday night fiasco where the Rubies discovered that someone had stolen their booze. Sulu even threatened to kick the Diamonds Chasemates out of the Ruby House if the booze wasn’t found. Luckily, Angelo saved the day after scouring the garden. The culprit obviously was Bassey. – DStv.
Sulu doesn’t give up
Sulu made another attempt at trying to spark off a relationship with Selly.
Despite a long talk in the Rendezvous Room with Selly that ended in disappointment, Sulu is not taking “No” for an answer. The Zambian sat with the sexy Ghanaian in the bedroom and wouldn’t leave her side.
When he started making his intentions of making Selly his number one lady known, Selly dug in her heels and reminded him that she can’t be in a relationship with him. “Sulu I care about you more than you know. That’s why I do everything for you. However, I can’t be your girlfriend. What should I do now to show you?” she asked.
When Selly playfully offered to give Sulu a French kiss so that he stops hounding her, Sulu didn’t find it to be an interesting proposition. The handsome Zambian refused, hoping for much more. Sulu has certainly held on to hope and deserves to be given an “A’’ for effort.
Will Sulu wear Selly down enough to finally get the Ghanaian to say “Yes” to a relationship, or should he drop it already? – DStv.
What’s with the beef?
There’S so much beef in the House right now. Pokello and Feza haven’t been seeing eye to eye and though Feza has been insisting that she has nothing against Pokello, the signs are contrary.
Pokello is certain that Feza swapping her to the Diamond House was predetermined and she wanted her as far away from Elikem as possible. Really? Well, Feza and Elikem had some kind of deal to keep each other away from their “lovers” but it seems as though when it was Elikem’s turn to return the favour, Feza’s man Oneal didn’t take it kindly.
Did we mention that Feza also put up Pokello for possible eviction in Sulu’s stead — was that also Elikem’s idea Feza? Well, the Tanzanian lass says none of this has been malicious and she has nothing against Pokello.
However, Pokello hasn’t made it a secret that the two have a score to settle. How soon will it be before the weaves start flying? Oops! they both have short hair. Pokello has concluded that Feza is just intimidated by her style and good looks. Ouch!
Selly and Beverly also have their own tiff. Whatever went wrong here? We remember back in the day how Selly tried convincing LK4 to cut Beverly some slack and get rid of Koketso. The two were thick as thieves then but it seems the tide has turned. According to Selly, Beverly doesn’t like her at all. Some girls wish they were in my shoes. It’s not my fault that I’m sexy and boys like me, the playful Ghanaian chirped.
Natasha has also spit fire following Elikem’s derogatory and insulting allegations towards her. She swore that Elikem and his babe gossip about her thinking that she is asleep but she was taking it in her stride.
We also see a silent war between Oneal and Elikem. Though they would never admit it, the guys seem to be having a hush hush competition. Oneal would hardly let it slide that Elikem and his girl Feza were tight during the initial weeks of The Chase. – DStv.
