After debuting her trademark shoes in Botswana last month, Zimbabwean reality TV star and socialite Pokello Nare has gone even higher up the map of Africa by exporting her brand to Tanzania where it is now also officially on sale.
Pokello announced last week in a series of posts on her social media pages that her brand was now finally available in the East African country, years after she had promised her fans in that country that she would be bringing her famous Pink Bottoms to them.
The shoes are already available in Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana where they debuted last month.
The move to Botswana, Tanzania, Namibia and the rest of Africa was one that Pokello had seemingly envisioned since the launch of the brand, having named the shoeas designs after Big Brother representatives from all participating countries. The shoes were named after Botswanaas rep Motamma, MotammaMalt, Tanzaniaas Feza called Kessymint, winner Namibiaas Dillish called DilishgoldDust and CloeIce named after Zambian Housemate Cleo.
Three international shoe designers, namely Sophia Webster, Sergio Rossi and Christian Louboutin, inspired the shoe line.
Although she did not list the price for the range in Botswana, the shoes are going for a pricey P1 690 per pair in Botswana. In Tanzania the shows will be exclusively sold at City Star Boutique.
The shoe has proved a hit with women, who have brought into the fashionistaas brand, making a pair of Pink Bottoms a coveted fashion necessity.
