POLICE swiftly intervened to restore order at Dangare Primary School in Sakubva this morning after angry parents besieged the premises demanding answers over the alleged improper acquisition of a new school bus.
The drama marked the first day of the second term as some parents toyi-toyied, voicing serious allegations against school authorities.
The Manica Post understands that the parents disputed the bus purchase, citing procedural irregularities, and have already petitioned Provincial Education Director (PED), Mr Solomon Gabaza.
Their petition, seen by this publication, was also copied to the Mutare District Schools Inspector (DSI), the headmistress of Dangare Primary School, and the School Development Committee (SDC) chairman.
